As the leading supplier of specialist drivers to the automotive market, we pride ourselves on being able to provide you with only the very best team of driving and automotive experts. There is great diversity within the team that is now over 150 strong. All have been hand-picked and passed through a rigorous selection process, and have only been selected if they meet with the very high standards that our clients expect.
Here are just a few examples of the type of drivers and their roles within the organisation.
Performance driver
Proving ground licence holder for Millbrook and Mira, with over 15 years experience with testing high-performance vehicles. Including Vmax testing, performance figure generation, track durability and many more.
Durability driver and team leader
A car enthusiast with full police pursuit training behind him, this long standing member of the PT&A driver pool has a proven record of reliability, commitment to safety and attention to detail. He is regularly tasked with responsibility for a small team of up to ten drivers, and manages them to ensure they understand the vehicle and the test requirements. He is responsible for dispensing keys and collating the driver’s reports. His shift will usually involve carrying out a full durability run alongside his team members on local driving routes.
Vehicle specialist
With 10 years experience of testing and working on events, this member of the team has a real passion for cars and is an automotive product expert. He is an articulate and personable team member who is well-suited to both proving-ground testing and events. His experience also covers training programmes, driving days and PR activity. Able to communicate complex information to individuals and groups, make presentations and respond to questions. He can operate at all levels from employees, sales staff and potential customers, through to high profile clientele and journalists.
